Library Wine 2013 Grenache

Grenache is responsible for some of the finest wines, including those from the most exalted regions in Europe.  In Mendocino, it flourishes.  The Vineyard is basked in afternoon sun allowing this late ripening varietal to achieve optimum maturity.  Aging exclusively in French oak barrels allows the elegant tannin structure to balance with the wild strawberry and blueberry that explode on the palate and are accompanied by subtle notes of white pepper. We enjoy our Grenache with rack of lamb, rabbit and even grilled wild pacific salmon.  Cheers!
